What is Vibe MCP?

Vibe MCP is a Model Context Protocol server that connects your Vibe account to an AI assistant. Once connected, the assistant reads your live campaigns, audiences, creatives, performance metrics, and streaming TV inventory, and can draft, launch, and adjust CTV campaigns in conversation.

What is the Vibe MCP server URL, and where do I put it?

The Vibe MCP server URL is https://api.vibe.co/mcp. It goes in your assistant's connector or MCP settings, not into the chat box. Pasting it into a conversation does nothing, because the assistant has to be configured to connect to it first. In Claude you do not need the URL at all: Vibe is available as a connector you add from Settings. In ChatGPT, Gemini Enterprise, and other MCP clients, you enter the URL when creating the connector and then sign in with OAuth.

Which AI assistants work with Vibe MCP?

Claude (Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise), ChatGPT with Developer Mode enabled, and Gemini Enterprise through a Google Cloud administrator. Any other MCP-compatible client works by pointing it at the Vibe MCP server URL. The consumer Gemini apps do not support custom MCP servers.

Do I need a developer to set up Vibe MCP?

No. In Claude and ChatGPT, setup is a settings change that takes about two minutes and no code. Gemini Enterprise is the exception: it needs a Google Cloud administrator to create the connection once.

Can an AI assistant actually launch a campaign, or only read data?

Both. The assistant reads campaigns, strategies, creatives, audiences, metrics, and inventory, and it can act: draft a campaign, edit targeting or budgets, and apply optimizations. Every advertiser-facing edit is logged in your activity history, and nothing publishes without you asking for it.

How do I create my first campaign through an AI assistant?

Connect Vibe as described above, then describe the campaign you want in plain language: the product, the audience, and a daily budget. Ask for a draft rather than a launch, review the targeting and inventory the assistant proposes, and publish when it looks right. A first draft usually takes one message.

Does Vibe MCP cost extra?

No. Vibe MCP and the Vibe Developer Platform API are included with every Vibe account. You pay only for media, with no minimums and no annual contract.

Is it safe to connect an AI assistant to my ad account?

Access is scoped to your own Vibe account through OAuth, so the assistant sees only what your account can see. Every advertiser-facing edit is logged and auditable, nothing publishes without an explicit instruction, and you can revoke access from your assistant at any time. Vibe is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant, audited against the AICPA Trust Services Criteria for security, availability, and confidentiality. How is Vibe MCP different from the Vibe API?

They are two front doors onto the same data layer. Vibe MCP is the AI-assistant-facing layer, built for conversation. The Vibe Developer Platform API is for anything your team builds itself, such as custom agents and automated reporting. Both read the same account state as the web platform.

Do I need a Vibe account before connecting?

Yes. Vibe MCP connects an existing Vibe account to your assistant. Creating an account is self-serve and free, with no minimums and no annual contract. You can set up the connector immediately after signing up.
