Introducing County and Congressional District Targeting

Vibe now supports targeting at the county and congressional district level. You can define exactly where your campaign runs, not just at the state or DMA level, and match that geography to the political and local boundaries that matter most for your message.

County and congressional district targeting is live for all Vibe clients today.

What changed

Until now, geographic targeting on Vibe meant choosing states, DMAs, or ZIP codes. For most advertisers, that covers the job. But political advertisers, local-market brands, and advocacy groups have always needed to go deeper: targeting Harris County, TX rather than the entire Houston DMA, or TX-29 rather than the state of Texas.

That gap is now closed. County and congressional district are first-class targeting options in Vibe's campaign builder. You can search and select any US county or congressional district by name or identifier, include or exclude individual geographies within the same campaign, and see your selections reflected immediately in your campaign's reach estimate.

How it works

In the campaign builder's Locations step, county and congressional district appear as new targeting types alongside the existing state, DMA, and ZIP options.

For county targeting, search by name and state. For congressional district targeting, search by the standard identifier format (for example, "TX-29"). Both types support include and exclude logic, so you can build campaigns that reach specific counties while explicitly excluding others, or that target a set of contested districts with one or two neighboring districts removed.

The targeting resolves via a ZIP code-to-county/district mapping in V1. A higher-accuracy version, built against Vibe's own identity graph using postal address data, is in development and will replace the ZIP-based mapping in the coming months.

Reporting at the same resolution

County and congressional district are now available as Geography dimensions in Vibe's Report Builder. You can filter campaigns by county or district, group performance data by either dimension, and export the full breakdown as a CSV. A political media buyer can pull cost, impressions, and conversion data at the congressional district level for an entire flight, not just aggregate campaign totals.

The same dimensions are available in standard campaign reporting, so your real-time view and your post-campaign analysis use the same geographic granularity.

Who this is built for

The immediate use case is political advertising: PACs, advocacy organizations, and campaign committees running CTV ahead of the 2026 midterms. Congressional district targeting maps directly to how political spend is planned and measured. County targeting covers local ballot measures, judicial races, and state legislative campaigns that don't follow DMA or ZIP boundaries.

The capability is equally relevant outside of politics. Local franchise brands, regional retailers, and healthcare advertisers whose service areas follow county lines rather than media market lines can now build campaigns around the exact footprint they operate in.
